July 2023 Boss Magazine Feature – Rutgers University Honors Living-Learning Community (HLLC) Building. Newark, NJ
In the Summer of 2023, E2PM was invited to be featured as one of their clients strategic partners for a recent project in the June 2023 BOSS Magazine issue. E2PM has proudly supported the client, The RBH Group, with their commitment to revitalizing urban communities and brownfield sites with world class projects.
E2PM supported The RBH Group with various site plan development and civil engineering services for a Rutgers University 71,770 square foot (1.65 acre) project site. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (“Rutgers,” or “the University”), was awarded a public-private partnership for the planning and eventual design and construction of an Honors Living-Learning Community (HLLC) building at Rutgers University- Newark, in Newark, New Jersey.
The HLLC is a transformative college access and success program that fosters the academic, social, and personal development of talented students from all walks of life with a desire to make a difference in their communities and beyond. With an innovative curriculum centered on themes of “Local Citizenship in a Global World,” The HLLC is an innovative RU-N initiative that is revolutionizing the notion of “honors” by creating intergenerational and interdisciplinary learning communities comprised of students, faculty, and community partners focused on tackling some of the nation’s most pressing social issues.
