Bicentennial Park Renovation Project, Spring Lake Heights, NJ

Shout-out to E2PM’s Charles “Chuck” Stewart for his recent involvement and support in the Bicentennial Park (a.k.a Ocean Road Park) renovation project in the Borough of Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. This park reopened to the public in August 2022 after a full renovation.

Overall improvements included the installation of playground equipment and two pickleball courts. It also included resurfacing of three tennis courts and two basketball courts. The softball field was completely refurbished and an irrigation system installed.

Chuck assisted with this project by providing a range of engineering, surveying, and construction and project management services, including the preparation of design plans and technical specifications, bid documents, contract administration and construction observations, and grant management and coordination with the Borough and the Monmouth County Park System, Acquisition and Design Office. He played a huge part in the design of the project, helped with the public bidding process, and oversaw the overall construction of the park.  More information from the Borough regarding the project can be found here.
