Whether for Land development, Utility Corridor Support, or Brownfield Redevelopment, accurate and exacting limits are essential to successful project design and execution. E2PM’s Professional Land Surveyors are licensed professionals equipped with the latest state of the art surveying and mapping equipment.

E2PM is unique in that it has both qualified field crews and technical office support that are comprised of highly qualified personnel, all supervised and managed by licensed land surveyors. It’s field crews consists of licensed New Jersey Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) and in-house Senior level CADD drafters, survey technicians, and office surveyors. E2PM’s Surveying Department supports transportation projects (highways, roadways, railways, etc.), structural projects (bridges, buildings, energy and transmission plants, co-generation plants, refrigeration plants, underground structures, etc.), and civil projects (demolition, grading, paving, drainage, landfill management, parking lots, etc.) for a broad range of public and private clients.

Deformation Monitoring

This service includes horizontal and vertical monitoring of Railroad tracks, dams, roads, tunnels, bridges and viaducts, high-rise and historical buildings, foundations, construction sites & settlement areas. During deformation monitoring, E2PM staff are capable of measuring ground/structure movement caused by adjacent construction activities and documents the movement (or lack of movement) of a structure. It is E2PM’s job to monitor these buildings and structures in or near a construction area to keep buildings safe. Horizontal and vertical monitoring of structures can be done by E2PM field crews to let clients control the frequency, and therefore the cost of services.

Construction Layout Support

E2PM has been successful in delivering a diversified array of Topographic Surveys, Utility Surveys, ROW Surveys, Settlement Surveys, Final As-Built Surveys, Boundary Surveys, and Construction Layout surveys for a large client base. E2PM’s construction surveying personnel can also provide Digital Terrain Models, Horizontal & Vertical Control Reports, Engineering Base Mapping, and historic building Monitoring and Reports.

Pre & Post Construction Surveys

E2PM has developed comprehensive plans to assess existing conditions of structures that have the potential to be impacted by construction activities. E2PM documents the external and internal conditions of the constructs of interest. E2PM utilizes digital video recorders and digital cameras to document the condition of the structures immediately adjacent to or surrounding the subject construction site. E2PM provides a summary report that details the entire monitoring program and the findings from the survey with photographs and written descriptions. Each report includes recommendations (for our clients and/or subcontractors) provided by E2PM’s trained construction managers and professional engineers. Following completion of the construction activities, a post-condition survey will be undertaken. This survey will also include photography undertaken in the same manner as the pre-monitor baseline condition survey. Further, there will be a report prepared which will evaluate the data collected and comment on the extent, if any, of damage incurred to the subject structures.
