E2PM is one of the most qualified A/E/C and Environmental consultants in the tri-state northeast region. Despite being small in comparison to other firms in the industry, its capabilities are mighty.

Decades in the Industry

Many of E2PMs senior level staff have been in the industry for over 30 years. This allows for specialized experience resulting in greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Since its incorporation, E2PM has grown significantly and developed a vast range of clientele providing services for many complex projects in the engineering and environmental industry. E2PM has performed services for and under the direct oversight of Fortune 500 companies, Federal, State and Local government organizations and agencies, large residential/commercial land developers, higher educational facilities, major utility (power and gas) companies, wireless telecommunications providers, and private property owners.

EXPERIENCED and professional STAFF

The success of E2PM is credited to its cadre of highly experienced engineers and environmental scientists.  The small-business company employs a staff of over 30 engineering, environmental and construction professionals including licensed Professional Engineers, Professional Planners, Certified Municipal Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, Professional Geologists, Register of Professional Archaeologists, Environmental Scientists, Ecologists and Asbestos/Lead Inspectors. E2PM also has New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs), with numerous successfully executed Response Action Outcomes (RAOs), and more than 25 LSRP managed sites.

E2PM’s broad range of employees has afforded the firm the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from the smallest residential dwelling expansion to large, long, linear major utility infrastructure upgrade projects.  That experience has given E2PM the ability to see both sides of any given project.

Licenses / Certifications

The A/E/C and environmental industry are highly regulated requiring many active and good standing licenses, certifications and registrations. At E2PM, we actively operate as a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with all the necessary company certifications, registrations, insurance requirements, Certificates of Authorization and individual staff professional licenses/certification to perform the much needed, multi-discipline tasks that many of our clients require for project completion.

In addition, E2PM holds several Prequalifications with many New Jersey state agencies to allow for opportunities for small business firms that might not otherwise be available to participate in.  Prequalifications are active with the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), New Jersey School Development Authority (NJSDA), New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority with anticipated additional prequalifications in the near future.

Multiple Disciplines

E2PM is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm with employees who have backgrounds in different disciplines, that come together on multiple projects to assess, plan, collaborate, and work towards a common goal for each client.  By having cross-trained professionals and field crews capable of many tasks, E2PM can be very competitive on projects with multiple scopes or areas of concern.

Operating with a multidisciplinary approach allows E2PM to deliver combined engineering, environmental, construction, ecological, cultural and other technical services.  Our turn-key operations and services create a distinct advantage for clients by offering a “One Stop Shop” opportunity within the engineering and environmental industry.  E2PM’s experienced, licensed/certified, and dedicated professional engineers, ecologists, surveyors, scientists and field technicians work together to advocate for every client.  They proactively solve technical and operational challenges no matter how small or complex the project.

The safety and well-being of employees, clients, and personnel working on its projects is paramount to E2PM. We are committed to implementing and fostering an Injury-Free culture where no injury is acceptable and safety is not an option, it is a necessity. It is E2PM’s policy that the health and safety procedures are to be implemented throughout all levels of management and field employees based upon the typical risks faced by members of their individual departments. E2PM believes it is the basic responsibility of all its personnel to make health and safety an integral part of each project from start to finish. E2PM also believes that all levels of management have a primary responsibility for the safety and well-being of its employees.

E2PM provides general project management and correspondence/reporting services throughout the duration of its projects. Management activities include coordination of all subcontractors and field activities to ensure the project is efficient and is completed in accordance with all mandatory time frames. E2PM’s management philosophy is anchored by the following five (5) pillars:

  1. Proactive and timely communication with client and all stakeholders;
  2. Team selection with exceptional experience directly related to the scope of work;
  3. Experienced Project Manager(s}
  4. Strong corporate commitment to quality and technical excellence; and,
  5. Strong corporate commitment to safety.

E2PM has been extremely successful in controlling costs under all its contracts, both in the everyday execution of fixed price and cost reimbursable task order assignments, and in developing plans and programs for our clients that others will ultimately execute. This success has been achieved by integrating expert management skills with the appropriate level of technical personnel with the right tools and using the appropriate mix of expert in-house and subcontractor staff to accomplish a task order efficiently and cost-effectively. E2PM’s management philosophy stresses continuity of key personnel on a project from the beginning through completion. It is one of several ways the firm achieves quality, schedule, and economies on all its projects.

Adherence to project specific schedules is of utmost importance to E2PM. Sector and Project Managers understand that time is money and the easiest way to overrun a job is by slipping the schedule. The professionals of E2PM understand the importance of supporting the regulatory milestone commitments of its customers. In the event of unforeseeable circumstances that impact any project schedule, E2PM immediately communicates concerns and solutions to all parties involved. When needed during any phase of work, E2PM staff review project schedules, provide feedback, and identify potential challenges, compliance concerns and/or delays that will result in cost exposures or project delays.
