Mr. Wieczorek is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) with over 20 years’ experience. He meets the Secretary of the Interior (SOI) Standards as an archaeologist, historian, and architectural historian.
As manger of the Cultural Resources Sector, he designs and conducts cultural resources investigations for projects conducted in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. He has served as a Principal Investigator for several major cultural resources and engineering firms on all phases of archaeological investigations and historic architectural surveys, and specializes in the analysis of prehistoric, historic, industrial, and maritime resources as well as in the analysis of historic structures.
Over the course of his career, he has designed and directed cultural resources surveys, and major cultural resources programs in accordance with various Federal, State, and Local regulatory frameworks including Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Rules, New Jersey Executive Order 215, the Pennsylvania History Code, and New York State Environmental Quality Review Act.
