In the telecommunications industry, Small Cells and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) networks are being deployed in cities and towns across the United States to augment existing wireless communications towers. In addition, 5G is the fifth-generation technology standard for broadband cellular networks, which cellular phone companies began deploying worldwide in 2019, and is the planned successor to the 4G networks which provide connectivity to most current cellphones.
Since the need for Small Cell, DAS and 5G has significantly increased, E2PM has provided several major carriers with engineering, surveying, cultural and environmental services for thousands of new project sites throughout the States of New Jersey, New York, Illinois, South Carolina and Kentucky requiring Small Cell, DAS and 5G Utility Pole Replacements.
Services provide for 5G Pole Replacement Projects include Zoning & Construction Support, Surveying, Due Diligence/Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Wetlands Delineations / Permitting, NEPA Compliance and Cultural Resource Services (SHPO/Tribal consultations).
