Since 2021, E2PM has served as a Special Projects Engineer for several projects throughout the Borough of Spring Lake Heights. Many projects were a result of the Monmouth County Open Space Grant Program.
Services provided include civil engineering design, permitting, land surveying, preparation of bidding contract documents, technical specifications and cost estimates, coordinate/attend bid openings, contract administration, process payment certificates, project control, construction administration and project closeout. Projects have included:
- Emerson Avenue Area Improvements – Involved milling and paving of approximately 1,700 linear feet of roadways, storm drainage installations, concrete curbing, construction of ADA accessible ramps, relocation of water and sewer utilities, traffic striping and traffic control. E2PM provided engineering, surveying and construction management and support throughout the duration of the project.
- Ocean Road Park Improvements (Bicentennial Park) – Assisted with the removal and replacement of 3 existing tennis courts and perimeter fence, removal and replacement of backstop and fencing at existing baseball field, the installation of new playground equipment, construction of a new pickle ball court, irrigation system installation, benches, ADA accessible ramps, concrete sidewalks, and soil erosion sediment control measures. - Shore Road Park Improvements – Designed conceptual site plans and prepared environmental permitting to construct access piers with outlook gazebo, a floating dock with a kayak launch, nature trails, an elevated timber walkway and soil erosion sediment control measures. NJDEP CAFRA permit for Waterfront Development and delineated coastal wetland impacts.
- Allaire Road Park Snack Shack Improvements – Involved the renovation of an existing Snack Shack building. E2PM coordinated with the project architect and mechanical contractor to complete the renovations.
E2PM was recently chosen again as Spring Lake Heights 2024 Special Projects Engineer.
