E2PM was retained to provide engineering services for a wireless facility on the Alpine 2 “Armstrong Towers” facility in Alpine, Bergen County, New Jersey.

The Armstrong Tower is a 425 foot tall lattice tower featuring three large cross-arms, located atop the Alpine, New Jersey palisades overlooking the Hudson River.  The tower is the permanent transmitter site for locally based experimental station WA2XMN and Fairleigh Dickinson University’s educational FM station WFDU, in additional to numerous directional radio services (including as a cell site).

E2PM was directly involved in working with wireless carriers doing multiple upgrades to this historical tower.  E2PM’s Chief Engineer and Senior CAD drafters worked together with clients to prepare site plans, construction drawings, reviewed as-built conditions of the work performed at the site and prepared Final Inspection reports.
