John Ferrante has over 45 years of experience in engineering, construction, environmental remediation civil/geotechnical/structural design of infrastructure, marine, and industrial projects. Mr. Ferrante has his Bachelors and Master’s degrees in engineering from NJIT and has been a Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Missouri and Maryland. Mr. Ferrante is also an approved NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP).  Mr. Ferrante’s experience and expertise ranges from site master planning and sustainable design solutions to site development.  He has provided planning, design, construction inspection and oversight, and project management for subdivisions, residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Mr. Ferrante has been recognized and an expert witness as a Professional Engineer at over 75 planning and zoning board of adjustments throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York. For many of his clients, Mr. Ferrante has provided structural design for steel, concrete and timber for heavy civil structures. He has executed many specialized designs including deep braced excavations, waterfront structures, blast resistant structures, civil infrastructure facilities, heavy industrial plants, chemical and petrochemical structures.  

Mr. Ferrante also has over 25 years of environmental engineering experience. Since 2000, Mr. Ferrante has been the designated LSRP for over a dozen projects and involved in the redevelopment of major brownfield sites from initial due diligence through remediation. Mr. Ferrante has been successful in achieving no further action status on major brownfield projects in New Jersey under NJDEP oversight. For many clients, he has been responsible for all NJDEP submittals including Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Baseline Ecological Evaluations, Remedial Action Selection Reports, Remedial Action Work Plans, Remedial Designs, Soil Management Plans, Remedial Action, Remedial Action Report, Deed Notice, Classification Exception Area, Sediment Sampling and Aboveground Hazardous Waste Investigations. Mr. Ferrante has been successful in the New Jersey Brownfield reimbursement program under the Brownfield Act and has had direct experience in evaluating new and innovative technologies for contaminated sites.
